IT/Systems Analyst

Normal working hours will be 8am-5pm but after hours work can be expected (i.e. to provide 24/7 support, minimize downtime during normal business day, planned/scheduled projects, system upgrades, etc.). Assist with configuration, installation, triage, and support of other shop floor systems (i.e. Frick, Marel, Meyn, MARS, CFS Wolf, etc.) currently deployed at respective plant.

OVERVIEW ::This is a high-level Network Administration/Computer Support position that reports to the Director of IT.  This position will assist IT Director in planning, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of Case Farms network and computer environment(s).  Individuals filling this position are expected to have experience, skill sets, and/or specialized applicable training/experience beyond Computer Support Tech II. RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS ::Help Desk / Desktop Support:<ul style="margin-top:0in"><li>Help Desk support to ALL Company Computer Users</li><li>Desktop computing environment(s) configuration, installation, deployment and maintenance</li><li>Maintain and support varied desktop MS Windows OS computing platforms </li><li>Maintain and support various end-user software(s) including but not limited to:  MS Office, Outlook email client, Sophos antivirus, Malwarebytes, Citrix client, etc.</li><li>Assist users with adding software, peripheral hardware, etc.</li></ul> Network Support:<ul style="margin-top:0in"><li>Assist with configuration, deployment, triage, & management of both wired and wireless IP network(s) (i.e. Cisco routers, switches, access points, patch panels, racks, etc.)</li><li>Troubleshoot, recommend, and correct networking issues as they may arise</li><li>Network backups and general server administration</li></ul> Mobile Devices / Video Systems / Other:<ul style="margin-top:0in"><li>Assist with configuration, triage, and management of mobile devices connecting to company networks (i.e. smart phones, tablets, etc.) at respective plant</li><li>Assist with installation, triage, and support of modem, fax, telephone, etc. wiring at respective plant</li><li>Assist with configuration, installation, triage, and support of video technologies (Arecont, Samsung, Bosch, etc.  cameras and Exacq video software systems currently deployed) at respective plant</li><li>Assist with configuration, installation, triage, and support of other shop floor systems (i.e. Frick, Marel, Meyn, MARS, CFS Wolf, etc.) currently deployed at respective plant</li></ul>REQUIREMENTS ::<ul style="margin-top:0in"><li>Degree in Computer and/or Information Systems or related and 5 years working experience or equivalent combination of both.</li><li>Experience supporting desktop computing environment(s) and hardware configuration</li><li>Experience supporting Microsoft Windows server and desktop OS</li><li>Experience supporting Microsoft Office products</li><li>Experience with TCP/IP networking and connecting devices to corporate network</li><li>Adequate organizational, time management, and communication skills</li><li>Occasional overnight travel required</li><li>Normal working hours will be 8am-5pm but after hours work can be expected (i.e. to provide 24/7 support, minimize downtime during normal business day, planned/scheduled projects, system upgrades, etc.)</li></ul>Candidates with the following technical background will be strongly considered: <ul style="margin-top:0in"><li>IP Networking (wired & wireless technologies)</li><li>Cisco networking components (i.e. routers, switches, access points, etc.)</li><li>Microsoft Windows Server 2k8 and above</li><li>Active Directory administration </li><li>MS Exchange administration</li><li>Exposure to other applications in use at Case Farms, including but not limited to, MS SQL server, Citrix Server, SharePoint Server Administration and/or Development; VMWare deployments, etc.</li></ul>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS ::Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions, if applicable.<ul><li>Frequent lifting of 40lbs or less</li><li>Sitting, standing, bending, walking, and stooping.</li><li>Visual acuity required to read computer screens and detailed technical documentation</li><li>Frequent use of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and related office and IT equipment</li><li>Ability to sit for extended periods of time while working at a computer</li></ul>Case Farms is an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer.
