Responsibilities:
Packaging technicians are responsible for working in the food production line and to ensure that the best quality standards are being met in the packaging of all eagle brand food products. In addition, the Packaging technician will be responsible for running and maintaining packaging department equipment (conveyors, labelers, scales, palletizers, and other related packaging equipment) performing various tasks to set up, operate, monitor, troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance on assigned machines. <ul><li>Perform startup checks at the beginning of each shift. </li><li>Perform machine setup before each shift and perform testing procedures to ensure that machines work optimally during production logging results electronically by hour against set efficiency targets. </li><li>Perform routine time-based tests to ensure machines are producing quality products (i.e., seal, visual, weight, etc.). </li><li>Perform front line preventative maintenance. </li><li>Monitor and perform routine adjustments and calibrations on each machine (packaging machine, scales). </li><li>Monitor all product to be packaged to ensure best quality standards are being met against provided work instructions. </li><li>Oversee efficient and safe operation of all equipment on the line. </li><li>Review appropriate production schedules for the line to ensure correct equipment setups have been made and appropriate packaging material are present for efficient productivity.  </li><li>Ensure all materials are properly counted, weighed, and labelled with correct label information. </li><li>Ensure that all partial pallets, bags, containers, are available and accessible as well as having proper documentation such as part number, weights, and expiration dates. </li><li>Ensure that all material and packaging are correct and meet all the customer and Company specifications against provided work instructions. </li><li>Ensure adequate housekeeping in the work area throughout the day to include maintaining and cleaning machine(s) before and after each shift. </li><li>Ensures understanding of MSDS and can follow chemical handling procedures.</li><li>Ensures compliance of Pack 2 equipment, can follow procedure for pulling pull quality samples.</li><li>Can follow evaporated milk hold procedures and understands filler room sanitation procedures.</li><li>Basic troubleshooting for: labelers, palletizers, Kawasaki Robot, DRP, Fillers, Seamers</li><li>Generates workorders </li></ul> 

Qualifications:
<ul><li>Completion of a High School Diploma or GED required. </li><li>The ability to communicate and take directions effectively and efficiently in the English language, both verbal and written. </li><li>1-year of packaging operator experience preferred. </li><li>Proven problem-solving skills with a mechanical understanding of machinery.</li><li>Basic computer and tablet skills, including familiarity with common applications and internet use.</li><li>Knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures. </li><li>Experience with GMP’s, HACCP, and Food Safety requirements preferred. </li></ul>

Overview:
The Warehouse Supervisor leads the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficient workflows and high standards of safety and quality. This position oversees labor management, coordinates shipping processes, and ensures proper maintenance of equipment. Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Responsible for overall Warehouse operation and leadership of hourly labor.</li><li>Assign/Allocate labor to process workload.</li><li>Create work plans for the entire team (3 shifts) on truckloads and LTLs in alignment with work demand.</li><li>Monitor warehouse productivity, accuracy, and on-time shipping; take corrective action when necessary.</li><li>Coordinate with carriers to ensure efficient and timely outbound flow.</li><li>Ensure shipping documentation is completed on a timely basis.</li><li>Oversee proper labeling, packaging, and documentation to ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.</li><li>Establish and maintain quality standards.</li><li>Support annual physical inventory.</li><li>Ensure adequate equipment and facility maintenance.</li><li>Ensure safety rules are known and followed by the team.</li><li>Maintain compliance with OSHA standards, company policies, and all applicable regulations.</li><li>Oversee four different departments (TL, LTL, FP, and Wood Area).</li><li>Oversee driver performance and request coverage on weekends as needed.</li><li>Conduct effective team member training as necessary.</li><li>Manage employee performance by providing coaching, feedback, and support for development.</li><li>Manage employees’ timecards and approve their time off.</li><li>Assist the team with supervisor training and retraining as needed.</li><li>Conduct effective daily meetings to ensure smooth transition from shift to shift.</li><li>Attend meetings as required by corporate or internal leadership.</li><li>Act as liaison between Shipping and Sales for handling fulfillment issues.</li><li>Assist and cover the Operations Manager during absences to maintain operational continuity</li><li>Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for shipping and warehouse activities.</li><li>Track and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to shipping productivity.</li><li>Assist in documentation of procedures and associated training of staff.</li><li>Prepare documents and information for the EDGE meeting.</li><li>Implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize warehouse operations.</li><li>Investigate and resolve operational issues, customer complaints, or discrepancies in a timely manner.</li><li>Ensure effective use of warehouse space and organization of materials for efficiency and safety</li><li>The employee must communicate clearly and ensure that all processes are thoroughly understood by team members.</li><li>Maintain records: Document shipments, inventory movements, and employee performance.</li><li>Share performance metrics, safety incidents, and operational updates with management.</li><li>Identify, analyze, and record security breaches and communicate with relevant stakeholders. </li><li>Identify, report and process defective materials.</li><li>Run various Key performance metrics reports </li><li>Leading, training, and motivating warehouse staff, providing feedback, and ensuring adherence to procedures</li><li>Identifying areas for improvement in warehouse layout, processes, and workflow.</li><li>Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and maintain accurate records.</li><li>Manage employees’ timecards including vacation, PTO</li></ul>
