Requires a Bachelor’s degree and five years of experience in government, regulated, or nuclear procurement analysis, evaluation, negotiation and execution, and principles and techniques of procurement processes – OR – a high school diploma or GED and nine years of experience in government, regulated, or nuclear procurement analysis, evaluation, negotiation and execution, and principles and techniques of procurement processes. The Procurement Specialist III is expected to perform independently, with minimal supervisory involvement in complex actions and issues, to support Energy Northwest’s objectives for cost competitiveness, material condition, public confidence and stewardship through procurement practices that conform to the Revised Code of Washington, Executive Board Resolutions, company policies and procedures, and prudent business practices.
