The Grounds Worker/Laborer performs tasks that primarily require physical abilities and effort involving little or no specialized skill or prior work experience. May make other minor repairs, general hauling, sweeping and other general work duties as assigned.Physical Requirements:This position is physically demanding in that grounds maintenance workers must be capable of doing physically strenuous labor for long hours, often in extreme heat or cold. This position requires the ability to frequently: push, pull, lift, bend, stoop, walk, and stand. Requires constant exposure to outdoor environmental conditions, noise, varying weather conditions and exposure to dust, dirt, pollen, etc. and traffic. The ability to lift up to 75lbs is required.
