Overview: The Medical Assistant will be responsible for assisting the physician/APRN(s) with patient care, clerical, data entry, medical record obtainment, environmental and organizational tasks, assisting with medical procedures, obtaining appropriate consents, conducting patient handoffs and providing information to patients so they may fully utilize and benefit from the practices services. Required to draw and collect blood samples and specimens from patients and prepare/transport specimens for laboratory analysis with the highest level of care to ensure no errors and the highest level of patient comfort and care.
