Title: Sr Product Manager, StoresLocation:  San Francisco, CA (Hybrid)Duration : 6 months to start Job Overview:Client want people who have Product Managers who have who have spent a few years building or evolving retail stores, but rather someone who’s career is predominantly geared towards retail stores technology product experience. Candidates do not need to have sat in a brick-and-mortar location, rather they has done product development and used the systems the stores use today. Project DescriptionAs a Senior Product Manager for Stores, this person will need to have experience in product management of Stores Technology whether it is Point of Sales, Work Force Management or any other technology software used within the Stores. In addition to Stores s/w, this person would be working Stores Hardware, Infrastructure, Design, Network and other systems that have overlap with Stores. Duties/Day to Day Overview<ul><li>Develop business requirements for Store Systems enhancements, features and functionality</li><li>Serve as a liaison between Business and Technology teams to ensure solutions meet business expectations with high adoption and satisfaction rates</li><li>Attend project meetings and provide status reports to the business team</li><li>Facilitate troubleshooting and resolution of daily project issues</li><li>Educate Brand teams and Stakeholders on recommendations, guiding discussions to consensus and driving action items</li><li>Frequently interacts with customers, and/or functional peer group IC'S/managers, normally involving matters between department and other functional areas or internal customers</li><li>Develop high-level business requirements and detailed user stories</li><li>Recommend and facilitate cross-concept initiatives and features</li><li>Assists in definition and management of project scope and subsequent change requests</li><li>Assist in the definition and implementation of new processes as they relate to new features</li><li>Gather, track and report metrics and key performance indicators for new features and functionality</li><li>Educate the business team on new application and processes related to platform and feature enhancements and ensure the team is equipped and trained appropriately</li><li>Evaluate alternative operational efficiencies and business process change</li><li>Organize and Facilitate User Acceptance Testing</li><li>Track and report on issues and solutions and escalate when appropriate</li></ul> Top Requirements  (Must haves)<ul><li>5+ years of product management experience, within a retail-technology organization</li><li>Experience related to technology used within a brick and mortar retail store - POS (point of sale), Work Force Management or Any other technology software used within the Stores.</li><li>Candidates do not need to have sat in a brick-and-mortar location, rather they has done product development and used the systems the stores use today.</li><li>Experience working with Stores Hardware, Infrastructure, Design, Network and other related system.</li><li>Understanding of retail to consumer flow and navigating the order flow between corporate systems and store software/hardware</li><li>Experience managing relationships with business stakeholders, gathering requirements and documenting those requirements in the form of user stories</li><li>Experience with Jira & Confluence, specifically authoring effective JIRA stories for functional requirements, detailed acceptance criteria and prioritization with delivery teams  </li><li>Experience authoring test cases that are aligned with end user expectations. Submit data requests required to execute test cases and obtain end user sign off.  </li><li>Drive functional backlog prioritization and lead various requirement discussions for product enhancements.  </li><li>Effectively partner with Operations and technology delivery teams & QA teams through gathering detailed requirements, presenting the business value, documenting requirements in JIRA and Visio process flows. </li><li>Provide production level support for Operations and technology partners for operational go-live and ongoing deployment validation of new functionality.</li></ul>
