Accounts Payable Specialist The Accounts Payable Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of vendor invoices and payments. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of accounts payable principles and practices. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, resolving discrepancies, and fostering positive relationships with vendors. Compensation:$50,000 - $65,000 yearlyResponsibilities:Invoice Processing:<ul><li>Receive, verify, and process invoices for accuracy and completeness, including matching purchase orders and receiving documents.</li><li>Enter and process vendor invoices into the accounting system in a timely/accurate manner.</li></ul> Payment Management:<ul><li>Prepare and execute weekly payment runs (checks, ACH, wire transfers).</li><li>Reconcile vendor statements and resolve payment discrepancies.</li></ul> FinancialReporting and Compliance:<ul><li>Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.</li><li>Assist with audits as needed.</li><li>Maintain accurate and organized accounts payable records.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Understanding fundamental accounting principles and bookkeeping</li><li>Familiarity with debits and credits.</li><li>Knowledge of invoice processing, payment procedures, and reconciliation.</li><li>Familiarity with purchase order processes.</li><li>Ability to manage and prioritize tasks effectively.</li></ul>About Company Cava Companies is a local leader in the residential real estate industry and residential rental management business.
