You willassistin developing and executing engaging internal communication strategies, crafting effective messaging for diverse employee audiences, and supporting key initiatives that enhance employee experience and engagement. </p></div><div><p><b>The successful Internal Communications Intern will have the following Minimum Qualifications:</b> </p></div><div><ul><li><p>Enrollment in a bachelor's degree program in communications, public relations, digital media, graphic design, media studies, English, journalism, or marketing at an accredited university or college. </p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Junior, senior, or graduate student standing. </p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills. </p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Proficiencyin Microsoft Office programs and platforms (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint). </p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Basic knowledge of digital content creation, including social media platforms. </p></li></ul></div><div><p><b>The ideal Internal Communications Intern will have the following Preferred Qualifications:</b> </p></div><div><ul><li><p>Experience in Adobe Creative Suite or other design and creative platforms. </p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Skills in video production and editing (a portfolio of design projects and videos will berequested). </p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects. </p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Professionalism, confidentiality, and the ability to work effectively with diverse audiences. </p></li></ul></div><div><p><b>An HYMH Internal Communications Intern will have the following Key Accountabilities:</b> </p></div><div><ul><li><p>Develop, manage, and implement a communications project and plan from start to finish. </p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Support internal engagement initiatives and employee experience programs. </p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Write, develop, and distribute content and messaging across multi-media internal communication channels, including digital and social media outlets. </p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Design and produce communication materials, including print and graphic design elements. </p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Assistin video production, from scripting to editing and distribution. </p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Collaborate with various teams to ensure clear, effective messaging for company-wide initiatives. </p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Develop a solid understanding of the assigned role by engaging in on-the-job training and receiving mentorship.  </p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Complete assigned tasks with guidance from your supervisor and team, gaining valuable insight into functional operations, management practices, and leadership strategies.  </p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Build technical, managerial, and leadership competencies through hands-on experience and exposure to various assignments, preparing for a successful future as an employee or manager.  </p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Activelyparticipatein team projects and contribute to team meetings to support collaboration and achieve project goals. </p></li></ul></div><div><p> </p></div><div><p>This internship program is hybrid, with the majority of work conducted in-person at the Americas Headquarters in Greenville, NC.Interns must arrange their own transportation to and from the internship location. </p></div><div><p>If you are excited about this internship opportunity but your experiencedoesn’talign exactly with every qualification listed, we still encourage you to apply.
