Our most successful interviewers typically dedicate 4-6 hours a day to working on their assignments.</li><li> </li><li>Self-starter who can manage, organize, and commit to their own work schedule.</li><li> </li><li>Enjoys meeting new people from diverse backgrounds and professions.</li><li> </li><li>Has field interviewing, sales, hospitality, marketing, financial, real estate, tax preparation, teaching, or customer service experience.</li><li> </li></ul> Requirements For Employment: <ul><li> </li><li>Ability to speak, read, and write in Spanish and English.</li><li> </li><li>Must be at least 18 years of age.</li><li> </li><li>High School Diploma or GED Preferred.</li><li> </li><li>Willing to work a flexible schedule of 15 – 25 hours per week.</li><li> </li><li>Must be comfortable contacting people in-person at their homes, often without notice. Flexible availability to work a mix of weekdays, and evenings/weekends often to reach people who are not home during the work week.</li><li> </li><li>Valid driver’s license, automobile insurance, and access to reliable transportation.</li><li> </li><li>Must be willing to drive 50 miles or more round trip to complete required task.</li><li> </li><li>Must reside within 100 miles of the location displayed in this job posting.</li><li> </li><li>Must be able to use a NORC-provided tablet and applications for tasks such as sending emails and capturing notes about work completed.</li><li> </li><li>Must attend all virtual and in-person training sessions.</li><li> </li><li>Have ability to travel for 3 day in-person training sessions located in Greater Chicago, NYC, or Los Angeles area.</li><li> </li><li>All employees hired for this position must satisfactory complete a background check, present evidence of their identity, and authorization to work in the United States (I-9 documentation).</li><li> </li><li>Qualified applicants must be eligible to work in the U.S. We regret that we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this position.</li><li> </li></ul> Salary And Benefits: This position is classified as intermittent. The pay range for this position will be $19.00 – $28.41 per hour with additional bilingual bonus pay of $1.00 for each hour worked after certification is completed; base pay is based on experience and geographic location.  <ul><li> </li><li>Field Interviewers working on the 2025 SCF project are eligible to earn an additional $50 - $100 biweekly, if required training and performance standards are met and maintained.</li><li> </li><li>NORC will contribute to an individually owned, fully vested retirement account with TIAA at a rate of $4.93 for each hour worked, and contributions will be made on a quarterly basis.</li><li> </li><li>The pay range for field interviewers in California is $19.00-$28.81 per hour.
