Position Summary:   Provide tactical direction and leadership to staff to ensure customer requirements are met while meeting our Penske goals and objectives. Maintain a professional approach while supporting the solution enabling achievement of all contractual obligations. Create and foster a relationship with the customer's logistics manager to facilitate operational stability.   This position may be specific to one customer or group of customers with similar needs.   Major Responsibilities:   People:   -Ensure that all supervisors understand how their work relates to the customers' business objectives, Interview and hire all associates up to supervisor level. Description:  JOB SUMMARY  The primary responsibility of this position is to plan and organize program events and meetings for the National FFA Convention, and non-convention-related events for the National FFA Organization and Foundation. Overview:
The Transportation Manager II effectively manages the dedicated fleet of a complex or multiple site operation and has full P&L responsibility. In addition, they will exceed customer expectations and developing additional business opportunities for NFI. The Transportation Manager is the person ultimately responsible for that operation(s) and oversees at least 50 drivers.

Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Operations Management</li><li>Manages day-to-day operations of facilities and subordinate staff including managers, supervisors, coordinators, clerks, spotters, and drivers.</li><li>Accountable for interaction with the customer on an ongoing basis regarding customer reviews and continuous improvement</li><li>Develops and manages a comprehensive strategy for the project by shaping requirements, assessing deliverables and utilizing resources to help eliminate process problems. </li><li>Plans long-term labor needs based on sales, forecasts and historical data</li><li>Develops a strategic plan to ensure the efficient and cost effective operation and utilization of the equipment and personnel.</li><li>Oversees asset management, delivery/logistics, regulatory compliance, productivity improvement, planning and organization, problem solving, project management and communicating to top-level management</li><li>Oversees and ensures all customer pick-up and delivery requirements are meeting customer standards</li><li>Audits compliance of both internal and external SOP’s.</li><li>Ensures that equipment is utilized in the most efficient manner </li><li>Sources all avenues to grow revenue base with both dedicated and non-dedicated customers</li><li>Financials</li><li>Responsible for facility P&L and budget preparation. </li><li>Responsible to ensure audits all billing activity for accuracy. Qualifications:
