Deep understanding of US GAAP accounting rules in a complex, SEC regulated, technology company, such as ASC 805, ASC 350 and ASC 280 Demonstrated very strong technical accounting skills analyzing complex business transactions, particularly in the areas of revenue recognition, fair value measurement, leases and derivative-hedge accounting Minimum 5 years of public accounting experience including leadership roles or 7 years of non-public accounting experience (SEC registrant company) Experienced in drafting and reviewing external reporting documents under US GAAP for SEC-regulated companies Proficient in writing technical accounting memos to analyze accounting issues on complex transactions Demonstrated professional written and oral communication skills and working knowledge of computer skills including the Office suite of products Must be able to independently prepare various footnotes for SEC filings. As a Senior Lead - Technical Accounting you will work on some or all of the following activities: compiling the Company’s external reporting documents and SEC filings (Forms 10-K and 10-Q), accounting for complex business transactions, advising the business on technical accounting matters, formulating accounting practices and procedures, and providing advice to other professional accountants to insure worldwide integrated application.
