Each of Florida's State-Operated Mental Health Treatment Facilities is the recipient of the Governor's Sterling Award for Organizational Excellence.   Our state psychiatric hospitals offer a truly unique clinical experience, where patients are treated using a multidisciplinary approach and the latest behavioral therapies.

 Career opportunities are available at North Florida Evaluation and Treatment Center, Gainesville (200 forensic male beds), Northeast Florida State Hospital, Macclenny (600 civil beds, near Jacksonville), and Florida State Hospital, Chattahoochee (500 civil and 500 forensic beds, near Tallahassee).

Team members include healthcare professionals from psychiatry, music and art therapy, nursing, primary care, and psychology.
