Alliance Cancer Care was formed in 2016 when three leading healthcare providers came together to form a strategic partnership that will ensure excellent patient care and the latest technology for many years to come. Center for Cancer Care has been providing radiation therapy in North Alabama since the mid 1980’s and has grown into the largest radiation oncology provider in the state of Alabama. Alliance Oncology is the nationwide leader in radiation oncology and radiosurgery programs. Alliance Oncology partners directly with hospitals, physicians groups and other healthcare providers to offer the latest technologies to their patients. Huntsville Hospital Health System is the third largest publicly owned hospital system in the nation with more than 1,800 beds and 12,000 employees. These three very strong companies have come together form Alliance Cancer Care. Alliance Cancer Care is based in Huntsville, Alabama. With the belief that progressive, high level cancer treatment should be available close to home and as convenient as possible, Alliance Cancer Care provides radiation therapy to over 180 patients every day with a team of seven physicians at six locations across North Alabama. Alliance Cancer Care recently partnered with Elekta and will soon be installing the first of 5 Versa HD’s. This cutting edge technology enhances our SRS and Lung SBRT programs with more precise and efficient treatments resulting in better outcomes and patient comfort. Alliance Cancer Care is also in the process of developing a comprehensive cancer center in the Florence, Alabama market that will introduce a state-of-the-art facility offering convenience and comfort to patients in need of specialized high level treatment. These initiatives ensure our commitment to the community to provide progressive, high level radiation therapy in North Alabama for many years.
