Products

Arbitration Programs – Companies sign up to any of the seven binding arbitration programs:

  • Automobile Subrogation – Automobile physical damage subrogation disputes
  • E-Speed – Totally electronic process for automobile physical damage subrogation disputes under $3,500
  • Property Subrogation – Homeowner and other property-related subrogation disputes
  • Special Arbitration – Claim disputes involving third-party liability; workers’ compensation subrogation; and/or disputes regarding concurrent, overlapping, or excess/primary coverage
  • Personal Injury Protection (PIP) – Pursuit of direct action recovery or loss transfer from claim or benefit payment (state-by-state basis)
  • Uninsured Motorists’ – Coverage denial disputes related to uninsured motorists’ endorsement
  • Medical Payment – Medical payments subrogation disputes
By signing up to any of the seven national arbitration agreements, companies agree to forgo litigation against the other members and consent to binding arbitration (known as intercompany arbitration) with AF resolving the disputes.

There is no fee for membership.

Filing fees are AF’s primary source of income.

E-Subro Hub – A Web-based paperless communication and claims document management system that electronically connects insurance carriers and other parties and acts as an electronic clearinghouse for subrogation. By using E-Subro Hub, both members and non-members of AF no longer need to handle paper documents, locate third-party contacts, route demands, or negotiate files.
