Association of Social Work Boards

The Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) is the nonprofit organization of social work regulatory bodies in the United States and Canada. ASWB owns and administers the licensing exams used by its members to test a social worker’s competence to practice ethically and safely. The association also provides support and services to its members to advance their mission of public protection. ASWB is headquartered in Culpeper, Virginia, and has a staff size of around 50.
