The Auschwitz Institute’s unique approach makes it the leading NGO to provide training to government officials on identifying and mitigating the factors that can cause genocide and other mass atrocities. AIPR engages directly with policy makers and empowers them to work collaboratively on effective policy solutions that address the specific challenges faced by the region in which they work. Through its four locations in New York, Buenos Aires, Kampala, and at the site of Auschwitz itself, AIPR provides education, training, and technical assistance designed to support States in developing or strengthening national mechanisms for the prevention of genocide and other mass atrocities. The Auschwitz Institute also encourages and supports states to cooperate through regional and international arrangements to advance prevention.
