About Benefit Recovery
Benefit Recovery began operations in October of 1992. Originally a denial management firm, our growth has taken us into all areas of revenue cycle management. Building a culture of integrity in today's complex business world demands high standards in every area of our operations. Benefit Recovery’s commitment to honesty and fairness as well as total compliance is backed by comprehensive processes, policies, communications and training that strives to enable transparency and provides direction on how to make the shared commitment to integrity achievable.
Through the years BR has obtained valuable human resources with expertise in hospital consulting, business office and patient account management, hospital administration, information technology and software development, as well as technical advisors from the medical field. Our current workforce is made up of 240 full and part-time employees, with operations in 25 states.
Since the events of 9/11, BR has been proud to have dedicated the majority of its resources to working with the Department of Defense (DoD) and the Veteran’s Healthcare Administration (VHA) in order to improve patient care through the enhancement of third party revenue and improved management practices. The development of our latest software product has taken the concept of improved management strategies to a new level. Currently being deployed in both DoD and VHA facilities, this product enables government facilities to be treated on an equal basis with private hospitals while maintaining their current framework and computer systems.
As we move forward, Benefit Recovery looks to the future of healthcare financial management with an eye toward further streamlining business office operations, allowing hospitals to focus more on patient care through prevention, diagnosis and treatment. Whether reimbursement for patient care remains within the private industry sector or becomes part of a national health plan, Benefit Recovery will continue to provide software and management solutions that create efficiency of operations and increased revenue streams for all healthcare facilities.
