Brown Pontiac was established in 1964 by Elmer Brown. Honda and GMC franchises were added in later years to better serve the people of Amarillo and surrounding areas. In 1985 a separate dealership was constructed to house Honda automobile sales and service. In 1997, the second generation of Browns - Brian, Randy and Kent, purchased Pontiac, GMC and Honda dealerships and took over management of these facilities. The Subaru franchise was added 2001. The Browns have been responsible for the sale of over 50,000 vehicles over the years. They have a great appreciation for the people of the Texas Panhandle region and value the loyalty of their customers. Brown Automotive Group is a full service franchised new car dealerships. Our companies provide well stocked parts departments, trained mechanical service technicians, a full service professional body shop as well as financing and insurance services. The Company also offers quality pre-owned vehicles at either of their used car sales departments. Customer satisfaction is very important to Brown Automotive Group.
