About CAPITAL DISTRICT RENAL PHYSICIANS
Capital District Renal Physicians has been providing kidney care to the people of the Capital District since 1974. One of the largest private Nephrology practices in New York State, our physicians are experienced in all aspects of renal disease. Our group provides office consultation and follow-up at Albany, Schenectady and Saratoga locations, and acute care consultations at Albany Medical Center, St. Peter’s Hospital, Ellis Hospital, Albany Memorial Hospital, and Sunnyview Rehabilitation Center. We manage dialysis care for patients at six different locations throughout the greater Capital District. We offer a Chronic Kidney Disease Care Clinic with multiple services specific to the needs of our patients. We are proud to maintain our long tradition of high-level care, compassion and respect.

MEET OUR TEAM
From the moment you enter the offices of Capital District Renal Physicians, you will understand why patients have trusted us for nearly 40 years. Since 1974, our physicians and staff have been dedicated to providing compassionate, innovative, high-quality healthcare to the residents of the capital district and surrounding communities.
Our seven highly skilled, experienced physicians are board certified in Nephrology. Their specific areas of focus are broad, ranging from research to transplantation. Whatever your renal diagnostic or treatment needs, our physicians stay current on the latest research and specialized techniques to provide you with the most modern and effective care possible.
Our support team consists of two board certified Nurse Practitioners who work closely with our physicians in the office, hospital and dialysis units. They are a caring patient resource, available to answer questions and guide patients through the process of their treatment.
Rounding out our team is our dedicated office staff. They are the first people you see when you enter our office and the friendly people on line when you call us. Whether you need to schedule an appointment, inquire about billing or insurance concerns, or get an answer to a medical question, they are quick to respond and strive to create a pleasant, comfortable environment where your time and privacy is valued.
