CONVERSO, established in 1993, has become one of America’s prominent dealers of modern furnishings and objects. Our catalog highlights furniture by architects, rare prototypes, and limited-editions, attracting attention from collectors and designers alike. With a dedicated team of craftsman we undertake restorations that resolutely honor the origin of each piece and the intent of the designer. Our intense curiosity and facility for primary research has often made CONVERSO first in uncovering major collecting areas and important archival material and we are a magnet for curators researching museum exhibits. We have intimate and historic relations with the major Design auction houses, both in the US and in Europe. Exhibiting widely, CONVERSO presentations at the now classic Armory Modernism shows were routinely cited by the NYT's as exemplary; in December/2017, we will exhibit at Design Miami/. Based strategically in Chicago and with a large online presence, we are now bicoastal, with a thriving showroom located in Tribeca (NYC) presenting several curated exhibitions each year, including the best in contemporary art. This fall (2017), CONVERSO returns to LA with a new showroom on Beverly.
