About Diamond Equipment
Diamond Equipment traces its beginnings to 1969 when Terry Clement opened a Case Construction equipment dealership in Evansville, IN. He had been selling agricultural and construction equipment and embraced the opportunity to establish his own business.
Terry's son, Dave, grew up in the family business, spending summers helping out in the parts department. After a 5-year stint on the pro golf circuit, Dave joined the sales team in 1985. By 1996, Terry was ready to retire, and he passed along the company reins to Dave.
Over the years, the company has expanded to five locations. Whenever there was an area with service needs that was adjacent to one of their existing territories, Diamond extended its service area by opening a new location. They have always been fortunate in finding excellent managers who share the same sort of attitudes toward customers that the Clement family has—Simply treat customers as you would like to be treated, provide a high level of service, and always be honest and fair.
Like most successful family businesses, Diamond Equipment has a loyal group of employees who have been with the company for many years. They all strive to achieve zero downtime for their customers. The distinction between customer and friend has blurred while Diamond has been building its business, because they do treat customers the same way they treat friends—with kindness, consideration and respect.
