The Eastern Missouri Psychiatric Hospital System (EMPHS), a part of DBH, is comprised of three facilities in the St. Louis Metro Area: St. Louis Psychiatric Rehabilitation Center and Metropolitan Psychiatric Center, both adult mental health facilities, and Hawthorn Children’s Psychiatric Hospital, a child and adolescent mental health facility.
