The hospital serves visitors to and the residents of the Upper Arkansas Valley, which includes Salida, Buena Vista, Villa Grove, Saguache, Granite, Howard and surrounding communities.Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center is proud to offer exceptional care and a wide range of services to the community and its visitors. Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center opened its newest facility on April 1, 2008. Here we have ample space and cutting-edge technology that allows us to perform a large variety of medical services. We are a full-service, Level IV Trauma Center and Critical Access Hospital serving the Upper Arkansas Valley and surrounding areas. Providing patients with attentive, personalized care is our primary goal, and we are staffed with some of the most qualified and experienced medical professionals to accomplish it.
