J-Chavez Design Build

At J-Chavez Design Build, we believe deeply in creating beautiful, meaningful spaces and structures that inspire, are sustainable, timeless, functional and durable.  Our team of experts can take on the most complicated home design, remodel or weatherization projects, for the most discerning homeowners. We are passionate about historic craftsmanship, comfort and energy efficiency and we take a highly detailed approach to our work, often setting up a mobile office on site during critical times during the construction.   

We have collected a solid group of subcontractors over the years, that do fantastic work, are responsive, efficient and affordable.  We have professional, high quality design in house.  Our Owner is the Lead Designer and Chief Project Manager.  Most of our work is subcontracted, with a small group of talented, hard working carpenters to pick up the slack and handle small items. 

It is our goal to maximize quality, while maintaining a reasonable schedule and budget.  Communication and Customer care is vital.  We want each customer to be well educated on the process, so they feel taken care of and convinced that their project is our highest priority.
