Mendocino Forest Products Company, LLC (MFP), is a leading manufacturer and distributor of environmentally certified redwood decking, fencing, landscaping, timbers, and dimensional lumber products, as well as environmentally certified Douglas-fir dimensional lumber. Through its partnership with The Home Depot, the company supplies beautiful redwood and Douglas-fir lumber products to customers throughout California and the western U.S. Formed in July 1998, MFP and sister company, Mendocino Redwood Company, LLC (MRC®), work together to supply the marketplace with environmentally responsible lumber and timbers. MRC owns 228,800 acres (350 square miles) of timberlands in Mendocino and Sonoma Counties in California. MRC supplies MFP with raw materials in the form of redwood and Douglas-fir logs. MFP in turn manufactures these logs into top-quality redwood and Douglas-fir lumber products. Our company has been certified to the standards of the Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC® C013133) since 2000.
