Who are we?
Nerd Kingdom is a video game technology and research group, that cross pollinates disciplines in areas of technology, behavioral science, economics, and traditional game development. We hold forward thinking and collaboration as the foundation of everything we do, it defines our culture. Community is more than just a clump of users to us, it's an extension of who we are, and what we portray through what we build.

What we do?
Our game: TUG
Tug is a multiplayer open-world survival sandbox- RPG inspired by Minecraft, Zelda, Dark Souls, and others. The engine was built from the ground up. Tug uses new technology and social sciences to directly involve players in the game’s design. Tug is about experimentation and getting a sense of the world around you. The game is still under development and will continue to evolve but in its current state, players are able to explore an infinite world, harvest materials, craft, cook, and hunt some cool AI.

Our platform:
Nerd Kingdom is developing a platform for creation. Our platform focuses on people and data as a way to learn about our society and our world. We aren’t just making a game engine, we are focusing on how data flows through that engine in order to help us make a game that best serves the players. We depend heavily on player psychology in order to guide our players through the experience, and vice versa. Our engine focuses on voxel-based dynamic terrain generation and allowing open decision making. When complete, our platform will enable players, modders, and other game developers to create their own products.
