About Pender Alliance for Teen Health (PATH)
Pender Alliance for Teen Health, or PATH, provides access to an Integrated System of Health Care to Pender County youth through our School Based Health Centers. We serve children in grades K-12 and offer Primary Care, Behavioral Health Care and Health Education right at school. Having services available where the children are alleviates the barriers of transportation and lack of health care providers close by. We ensure parents do not have to take days off work to seek health care for their child by giving them the option for their child to be seen by medical professionals at school. PATH also has a TeleHealth Network that enables us to provide services to rural schools that have little or no access to health care providers. Our long term goal is to provide our services via TeleHealth to all Pender County NC schools. PATH is open when schools are open making it a great place to work for those who may want to have the same schedule as their children, or those who would like to work in a wonderful environment for 180 days per year.
