Since 1950, Sherman & Frydryk, LLC has been providing civil engineering, land surveying, land developing, and planning engineering services to residential, commercial, and municipal projects throughout Hampden, Hampshire and Worcester counties and surrounding areas.

Our Professional Registered Land Surveyors, technicians and draftspersons have a variety of experience in all facets of land surveying projects and are up to date with current AutoCAD software and field survey instruments. We provide GPS, electronic and robotic Total Stations for data collection services. We service survey needs for Municipal, State, Commercial, Architectural Firms and residential clients. 

We are up to date on ever changing Environmental Laws and regulations. We can provide the necessary filings for your project’s wetland issues and represent you before local governing boards.

About Us

We were founded by Kenneth C. Sherman, Land Surveyor and Engineer in 1950. Although, our records go back to the 1800’s as they include other former local Surveyors such as Nathanial Clapp, W.H. Brainerd, R.O & G.F. Dingman and Arthur Sullivan to name a few.

We have evolved a bit since Kenny started and now employ over 19 people who include Land Surveyors, Civil Engineers, Soil Evaluators, Office Technicians, Survey Technicians, Engineering Technicians, Field Crews and administrative staff.

As we provide both Land Surveying and Civil Engineering in one location, your project is streamlined and cost effective.

We service Hampden, Hampshire and Worcester counties and have worked with many local towns/cities including Belchertown, Brookfield, Brimfield, Chicopee, Hardwick, Monson, Palmer, Springfield, Sturbridge, Westfield, West Springfield, Spencer, Wilbraham & Worcester.

We provide services to various Commonwealth of Massachusetts agencies including: Massachusetts Department of Transportation-Highway Division, Massachusetts Department of Fish and Game and Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation to name a few.
