SMILES Center for Independent living offers 5 core services: Information & Referral, Independent Living Skills Training, Advocacy, Peer Mentoring, and Transition from Post Secondary school to Community Living and Transition from Nursing Home to Community Living. 

Our mission is to support people with disabilities to realize their full potential. 

Our vision is a world without barriers with equal opportunities & Choices for an independent life. 

Eligibility for service is the presences of a disability that limits the ability to function independently and a reasonable expectation that independent living services will increase independence. 

SMILES also offers PCA Choice, Assistive Technology Library, Permanent and Temporary Ramps.
