We are a family-owned and operated independent beauty distributor. Started by John and Denise Philipp out of their basement in 1998, TruBeauty is built on the concept that our customers always come first. 

TruBeauty's core values are to always be TRU: Trusted, Respected and Unique. Everything we do is with the intent of helping our customers achieve their goals and provide for themselves as well as their families. We believe education is the key to helping our customers achieve their goals. 

In 2010, TruBeauty opened the Home Of Professional Education (H.O.P.E) for Beauty. This was one of the largest investments in education by any company in the beauty industry to date. H.O.P.E. is now regarded as the premier independent, technique-driven education facility in the world. 

Tru completed the acquisition of Professional Beauty Supply, a beauty distributor servicing Delaware, Maryland, Virginia and West Virginia in 2014. With this acquisition, Tru was able to add three more H.O.P.E. for Beauty centers. 

TruBeauty is now one of the largest and fastest growing distributors in the U.S. TruBeauty services salons and spas in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, Washington D.C. and West Virginia with the finest brands and equipment in the business.
