Wayne State University Physician Group Wayne State University Physician Group (WSUPG) is one of the largest nonprofit multispecialty physician practice groups in southeast Michigan with more than 2,000 physicians providing primary and specialty care at nearly 1 million patient visits annually.
Knowledge-powered medicine Wayne State University Physician Group is affiliated with the Wayne State University School of Medicine. Many WSUPG physicians serve as faculty at the school and teach medicine to medical students and hospital residents.
