CNC Programmer (Mastercam)-Remote Contract/Project Role-1005

Need CNC programmer for 3,4, and (3+2) 5-axis parts on vertical milling centers. We are a high mix low volume manufacturer,

SKILLS NEEDED

• 5 years of 3-Axis programming experience
• 5 years of 5-Axis programming experience
• Lathe programming experience is a plus
• MASTERCAM proficiency
• Ability to design fixturing (tooling plates, profile jaws, vacuum plates, etc.)
• Must be able to create setup sheets defining work offset locations, tools, & OOH lengths
• Willing & able to work with machinists to overcome any issues that may arise
• Must be proficient with G & M code
• Ability to work with engineered drawings (Must understand GD&T)
• Willing & able to operate CNC Mills as/if needed

EQUIPMENT

We currently have QTY-9 HAAS VMC CNCs, 5 of which have 5-axis rotaries installed in them. We also have QTY-1 HAAS Lathe. We are actively looking to acquire more machines & operators as our workload continues to increase. All our machines utilize Renishaw Probing & OTS Systems which increase setup speeds & accuracy.
