A Technology Education teacher is needed at Menomonie High School. This position is to begin on August 17, 2026.

The successful candidate will display knowledge and application of the Wisconsin Teaching Standards, the Wisconsin Standards for Technology and Engineering, and the PLC and RtI processes. Candidates must possess a passion for high-quality work within all student populations, have the ability to teach concepts to both advanced and challenged high school students and exhibit positive communication with students and families.

Responsibilities include engaging students in conceptual thinking with applications to the real world, using data to adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students'' varying needs and interests, collaborating with colleagues to improve the learning of all students, and maintaining a safe, respectful classroom environment. Experience teaching high school students is preferred.

Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI) license #1220 (Technology Education) is required, and any of the following certifications are desired - #1291, #1292, #1293, #1295, or #1299. Experience with welding/machining and automotive is preferred. This position will remain open until filled with the first screening of applicants to occur on May 27, 2026. EOE.
