PART TIME CLERK
SALARY $13.50 PER HOUR
This is a part-time position with no benefits.
General Definition of Work:
Under the direct supervision of the Facility Coordinator to assist in the daily operations of the facility. Performs general office tasks, including answering telephones, customer service, record keeping, data entry, and receiving daily revenue. This position also is the initial and primary contact with the general public
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Front desk operations, create a welcoming environment for all guests and City employees.
- Handle phone calls, address callers needs or direct calls to appropriate contact.
- Assist Management when needed by providing engaging facility tours, booking rentals and collecting rental payments.
- Responsible for performing essential clerical tasks, including but not limited to filing, shredding, and maintaining organized records.
- Demonstrated flexibility and a strong commitment to collaboration, with a willingness to work within the department and, when necessary, extend support to initiatives outside the department.
- Provide excellent communication skills to deliver quality customer service at all times by providing pertinent information both internally and externally
- Enter customer data into membership management software program, ensures paperwork is accurate/complete, and update member's information to keep their data current.
- Maintain accurate financial shift reports, balances petty cash, and informs managers of any overages, shortages, or change needed.
- Ability to utilize a digital software program to collect, record, issues receipts, either physically or via email, for fees from participants for programs, and utilize a digital shift schedule

- Ability to work nights and weekends.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Special Requirements:
- Minimum age of 18
- Must pass a driver's license check, background check and a physical exam (including a drug screen)
- Current CPR, AED, and First Aid certification or must obtain within 6 months
