Job Title: Shift Manager
Starting Wage: $24.65 per hour, including tips (est. $3.50 per hour)* Location: 1844-1868 NW Eastman Pkwy Gresham, OR 97030

Position Overview: The Shift Manager is responsible and accountable for all Restaurant activities while on duty. The Shift Manager will work with the Restaurant Management Team to ensure all activities are consistent with and supportive of the Restaurant’s business plan. They will ensure all Team Members are performing their job responsibilities and meeting expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and motivate team members to provide excellent customer service
Manage day-to-day operations of the restaurant during your shift, including opening/closing duties
Ensure the restaurant meets operational standards, including food quality, cleanliness, and safety
Assist in training and developing staff, fostering a positive and supportive team environment
Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally and ensure resolution
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
Track employee performance and provide feedback to improve individual and team efficiency
Handle cash management, ensuring accurate transactions and financial reporting
Support the management team with administrative tasks and operational improvements
Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years old and fluent in English.
6-12 months in a comparable shift leadership role.
Effective communicator with Teammates and the Restaurant Management Team.
Be flexible to work nights, weekends, holidays, opening and closing shifts.
Have the ability to stand for long periods of time, bend and stoop, and lift 50 – 75 lbs. comfortably.
Be able to work in close quarters and around heat.
Have a commitment to guest satisfaction.
