As a Clinical Laboratory Scientist / Medical Technologist, you will:
️ Perform clinical laboratory testing in chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, microbiology, blood bank, and other laboratory disciplines
️ Process and prepare patient specimens for testing
️ Operate, calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain laboratory equipment
️ Perform quality control and quality assurance procedures
️ Review and verify laboratory results for accuracy
️ Identify and report abnormal or critical test results
️ Maintain laboratory records and documentation
️ Ensure compliance with HIPAA, VA policies, and laboratory standards
️ Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare professionals
Bachelor's Degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, or a related science field
Current MLS, MT, ASCP, AMT, or equivalent certification preferred
Experience performing laboratory testing in a hospital, medical center, or clinical laboratory setting
Knowledge of laboratory quality control and quality assurance procedures
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
