 Concord, NH | $58/hour | 40 Hours Guaranteed | 13-Week Contract

New Hampshire Hospital, in partnership with the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services, is seeking experienced and compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) with strong behavioral health experience to join a dedicated psychiatric care team in Concord, NH.

Available Shifts

• Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

• Evening Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
  (5x8 schedules only)

RN Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Conducting psychiatric and admission assessments

• Administering medications

• Monitoring vital signs and blood glucose levels

• Processing physician orders

• Completing treatments and dressing changes

• Conducting pain assessments

• Performing venipuncture services

• Maintaining a safe therapeutic environment

• Documenting patient care using Electronic Health Records (EHR)

• Communicating patient updates verbally and in writing

• Responding appropriately to patient and staff safety concerns

Requirements

• Active RN License

• Minimum 2 years of Behavioral Health / Psychiatric nursing experience REQUIRED

• BLS Certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) REQUIRED

• Must be comfortable working independently in psychiatric settings

• Orientation completed on 1st shift for 4 weeks

⚠️ Please Note: Overnight nurses may work independently on the unit and should be comfortable in autonomous psychiatric nursing environments.
