We are seeking a senior safety professional to serve as an embedded Program Safety / EHS Engineer supporting complex engineering, manufacturing, and test operations. This role partners closely with engineering, test, facilities, and environmental health teams to identify hazards early, manage operational risk, and enable safe execution across all phases of hardware development and testing. You will provide hands on safety leadership during design reviews, hazard analyses, management of change activities, readiness reviews, and non?routine operations, while ensuring alignment with applicable safety, health, and environmental regulations.
In this position, you will act as a subject matter expert for program safety, process safety, and environmental compliance, supporting both flight and non flight systems that may involve high energy operations, hazardous chemicals, vacuum systems, and novel or developmental processes. Responsibilities include leading hazard identification through closure, supporting incident investigations and emergency response, developing training, performing audits and assessments, and preparing technical safety documentation. The ideal candidate has deep experience in high risk operational environments, excels at cross functional collaboration, and brings a disciplined, detail oriented approach to driving safe and repeatable operations in fast moving, schedule driven programs.
Compensation: $70.00/hr.
