FLSA STATUS: Exempt
EMPLOYMENT TERM: 200
SALARY: In accordance with the Hancock County Schools salary schedule for professionals, commensurate with experience and degree level.
EVALUATION: Performance in this position will be evaluated annually by the Superintendent or her designee and in accordance with WV State Code § l SA-2-12, State Board Policy 5310.
JOB SUMMARY: School Social Workers are trained mental health professionals with a degree who provide services related to a person's social, emotional, and life adjustment to school and/or society. School Social Workers are the link between the home, school and community in providing direct as well as indirect services to students, families and school personnel to promote and support students' academic and social success.
