Med-Scribe is currently recruiting for a certified medical coder for a temp to hire opportunity within a growing company!

In this role, you will support the processing of case files for non-medical necessity reviews involving billing, coding, compliance, and other technical issues. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented coding professional who takes pride in accuracy and producing high-quality work.

What Youll Do:

• Perform retrospective payment reimbursement reviews
• Prepare and write final, binding payment determination letters for distribution
• Assist with case file processing related to billing, coding, compliance, and technical issues
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Days/Hours: Full Time, Monday - Friday: 8:30 AM - 5 PM EST

Salary: $21.42/hr

Benefits available: Including Health Insurance, Vision, dental, PTO, Pet Insurance, and Holiday pay!

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School diploma/equivalent required
• Minimum of 3 years coding experience
• CPC or CCS certification required
• Knowledge of medical billing & coding systems
• Strong Attention to detail
• Excellent writing skills
