Job: Paraprofessional for Special Education

Description of Job: Help meet instructional needs of individual students inside and outside the classroom. Assist with the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEP), including self-help, behavior management, and instruction programs. Assist in providing students with social and life skills in and out of the classroom setting. Work under general supervision of principal and immediate direction of certified teacher.

Qualifications: High school diploma or GED

Valid Texas Educational Aide Certificate (SBEC) and Paraprofessional training which meet qualities for federal ESSA

requirements or ability to obtain

Fingerprinting Completed before first day of work
