Description
Our client is currently seeking a Accounting Manager
What You'll Do
- Lead and execute month-end close processes within a tight 2.5-day cycle.
- Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and internal controls.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Collaborate with operations on cost accounting and inventory management.
- Drive process improvements and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Partner with the Controller and leadership team to align financial operations with business objectives.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to team development.
- 5-10 years of progressive accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical skills-beyond traditional accounting tasks.
- Expertise in month-end close, cost accounting, and financial analysis.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP or Oracle) and advanced Excel.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/CMA preferred).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, process-driven environment.
