Accounting Technician I (S)

The purpose of this position is to review invoices for accuracy, record invoice payments using Excel, coding and uploading invoices into SharePoint for payment, processing p-card receipts, and serving as back up to the hospital cashier.

Salary Range: $32,639.00 - $59,327.00

Candidates now meet the minimum qualifications of a position if they meet the minimum education and experience listed on the vacancy announcement.

  • Knowledge of accounting methods and procedures to perform work
  • Ability to perform job duties with a high degree of accuracy
  • Ability to work independently with instruction provided as needed
  • Ability to use computer and copier
  • Experience in NCFS helpful

Work schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm.

Veteran's and National Guard Preference

Minimum Education and Experience

Associate's degree in accounting from an appropriately accredited institution, or High school or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and two (2) years of experience in accounting work; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
