Under the direction of the Regional Education Director and in alignment with the mission of the YMCA of Southeastern NC, the Afterschool Site Coordinator is a dedicated leader responsible for the daily operations of the afterschool program at an assigned school site. Serving as the primary point of contact for school administrators, faculty, parents, and guardians, the Coordinator plays a vital role in building strong partnerships and fostering a safe, engaging, and values-driven environment. This position requires proven leadership, strong communication skills, and a passion for youth development. The Coordinator will oversee program delivery, implement curriculum, support staff, and ensure a high-quality experience for children and families—guided by the YMCA's core values of honesty, respect, responsibility, and caring.
