Job Opportunity: Senior Logistical Planner
Join our dynamic team in the vibrant city of Oakland, CA. We are seeking a seasoned professional to oversee our supply planning function for a diverse range of material categories. This role offers a hybrid work environment with the potential for on-site presence up to three times a week at our Oakland office.
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee supply planning for multiple material categories.
- Review and release purchase requisitions and initiate stock transfers.
- Coordinate and communicate allocation plans during material shortages.
- Provide material procurement support during emergencies.
- Collaborate with program management, construction, and business finance teams.
- Maintain SAP planning parameters to meet target fill rate and inventory turnover.
- Present findings and make recommendations to management.
- Lead continuous improvement efforts using lean six sigma tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain or a related field.
- Proficiency in inventory management, statistics, and forecasting methods.
- Hands-on experience with SAP MRP or other MRP systems.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills.
- Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and Conditional Formatting.
Preferences
- Master's Degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience.
- 7 years of experience in supply chain or a related field.
- Knowledge of SAP ERP, APO, or Oracle Demand Planning.
- APICS CPIM Certification.
- Intermediate knowledge of lean six sigma concepts and tools.
