Senior Program Manager Opportunity in Rocklin, CA

Join our team at Pacific Gas and Electric Company and play a pivotal role in supporting the implementation and oversight of our Wildfire Mitigation Plan commitments. This is a remote position with an expectation to travel approximately 15% of the month to various PG&E locations, primarily in Dublin, San Ramon, and Rocklin. Be a strategic partner and help ensure our commitments are effectively planned, executed, and monitored.

Position Summary

The Senior Program Manager will be instrumental in providing governance and oversight across multiple wildfire mitigation programs. You will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure commitments are aligned with business activities and regulatory requirements, while driving accountability and results.

Primary Responsibilities

• Support implementation and oversight of Wildfire Mitigation Plan commitments.
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of wildfire mitigation programs and regulatory commitments.
• Partner with stakeholders to monitor execution and assess program performance.
• Facilitate the development and maintenance of governance artifacts and documentation.
• Evaluate commitment performance, identify risks, and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Lead cross-functional working sessions to drive accountability and decision-making.
• Support the development of processes that enhance visibility into commitment execution and program performance.
• Prepare executive-level reporting and governance materials.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• 7 years of experience in program management, project management, governance, compliance, regulatory, audit, utility operations, or related fields.
• Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and drive accountability.
• Experience in regulatory, compliance, governance, assurance, or performance management programs.

Preferences

• Experience in the utility or energy industry.
• Experience translating business, regulatory, or operational requirements into actionable plans.
• Experience monitoring program performance, milestones, and budgets.
