Providing excellent clinical and service quality, offering compassionate care, and supporting research and medical education are essential to our mission.Summary of Essential Duties:The AGVS Logistics Technician is responsible for collecting soiled linen, retrieving carts and maintaining the send and receive rooms for the Automated Guided Vehicle System in designated areas of the Medical Center.Delivers and returns 350 Surgical case carts per monthManages the logistical transport of a total of 2,875 lbs. of soiled linen, trash, and Biohazardous waste from approximately 31 locations, including: The North Tower, South Tower, Professional Towers, and Saperstein units per shiftTransport and prepares for recycling an average of 250 lbs. of cardboard per shift (1st, 2nd, 3rd)Employee can be trained to do the following Dock Technician or Lead Technician functions:Sterilize approximately 1,800 lbs. of biohazardous waste per shiftPrepares 8,400 lbs. of soiled linen for pick-upAssists with system operations, including helping to troubleshoot vehicle maintenance, and monitoring visual systems to ensure seamless traffic flowResolving clinical partner request for ADHOC carts and OR packsQualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED requiredEducationHigh School Diploma or GED requiredExperienceA minimum of 2 years of Supply Chain/Logistics experience required, preferably in a healthcare setting#J-18808-Ljbffr
