The Spirit of the Position
The Customer Service Representative plays a key role in the revenue collection and control of multiple parking lots. The CSR will greet the parker/guest in a manner consistent with the LAZ Way, serving as a representative displaying; honesty, integrity, accountability, teamwork, and demonstrating excellent communication skills.
The Details:
Must be able to communicate clearly in English language, and must present friendly, outgoing attitude.
Must be able to work independently. Other than training time, this position normally will work alone.
Principle Job Duties:
Promoting good customer relations by consistently providing premier customer service with a friendly demeanor, can-do attitude, and willingness to help at all times.
Helping patrons find the parking garage/lot they are looking for, putting their needs and comfort first.
Providing general property information to the guest.
Walking and/or driving company vehicle between different parking lots and identifying parking violators around the Airport.
Issuing the appropriate parking violation notice.
Communicating any issues or concerns seen on parking lots to location Manager.
Maintain and repair any malfunctioning parking equipment to ensure appropriate access to customers.
Ensuring proper garage/lot signage is displayed and communicating any observed deficiencies with Manager.
Conducting general maintenance of the garage - sweeping, wiping down surfaces and equipment, emptying trash, picking up trash, etc
General maintenance of machines such as putting in new receipt rolls but not limited to.
Basic janitorial type cleaning of parking lots. Picking up any trash you see on ground.
Completing all required data entry, paperwork and reports accurately and efficiently to account for any and all collected parking revenues and violations issued.
Add/delete monthly accounts, and key in required information for monthly parkers in the parking revenue control system.
Conduct license plate inventory
Be in full LAZ Parking uniform, on time, and ready to work when scheduled.
Be responsive and timely with correspondence and problem resolution, and display a caring attitude, develop a rapport with the customer base.
Work primarily without direct supervision and follow directions of supervisors when requests are made.
Assist customers in garages, lanes, and in the parking office
Other related duties as assigned.
Education:
High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
Experience:
Strong customer service experience.
Parking industry experience is preferred but not required.
Skills:
Willingness to be flexible.
Ability to handle challenging and at times, emotionally charged situations.
Ability to speak, read, and comprehend the English language.
Must be able to make decisions independently and stay firm on decisions made (not easily persuaded)
Physical Demands:
Willingness to work in the elements - heat, wind, snow, rain, etc.
Ability to lift, push and pull at least 10 pounds.
Ability to stand, walk and run for extended periods of time.
Ability bend, stoop, squat and lift frequently throughout a shift
