Anticipated Opening: Elementary Classroom TeacherLeveretts Chapel ISD
Leveretts Chapel ISD is accepting applications for an anticipated elementary teaching position. We are a small rural school district located approximately ten minutes south of Kilgore. Our district is built on strong relationships, high expectations, and a commitment to doing what is best for students.
This position follows a four-day instructional week. Class sizes are small, allowing teachers to truly know their students and provide meaningful instruction. Leveretts Chapel ISD pays $1,500 above the state base salary and offers a retention bonus. A STAAR performance bonus is also available based on results. Strong and accessible administrative support is provided at both the campus and district levels.
This anticipated position is open to candidates with strong elementary instructional backgrounds. Final grade-level placement will be determined based on the districts needs and the selected candidates experience, strengths, and skill set. We are seeking educators who are committed to high-quality instruction and who believe every child can succeed.
Leveretts Chapel ISD has completed its application for the Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA). Our local plan is eligible for payouts beginning August 2028. Based on this years average campus allotment, designated teachers would have received:

Qualifications Applicants must hold a valid Texas teaching certificate in Core Subjects EC-6 or another appropriate elementary certification. A minimum of three years of classroom experience is preferred but not required. Candidates should demonstrate strong instructional practices, effective classroom management, and a commitment to student success.
