If you're new to the trade, love tools, and want real‑world experience building and servicing commercial buses, this could be your start.Quick FactsDepartment: Service – ProductionEmployment Type: Full‑TimeExperience Level: Entry LevelSchedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. (occasional Saturdays)Pay: $22.00/hr; might be eligible for an increase up to $25.00/hr after 90 daysIs This You?Do you like building things and working with your hands?Are you eager to learn from seasoned technicians?Can you follow diagrams, instructions, and safety steps precisely?Are you dependable and detail‑focused, with a safety‑first mindset?What You'll DoAssist with installation of mechanical and electrical components on buses.Operate basic hand and power tools (wrenches, drills, sockets, torque tools).Follow work instructions, diagrams, and safety procedures to complete tasks correctly.Perform basic mechanical tasks that keep production and service moving.Support senior technicians with troubleshooting and repairs.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.Communicate status, blockers, and material needs to supervisors.Stay flexible and help with an extended shift when daily production schedule is not met.Cross‑train in other production stations as required.Minimum QualificationsHigh School diploma or equivalent (GED).Mechanical aptitude and comfort with tools.Ability to interpret and follow written and verbal instructions.Basic knowledge of mechanical or electrical systems (preferred, not required).Able to lift or move parts up to 50 lbs.Willing to learn, take direction, and focus on details and safety.Nice‑to‑HavesPractical experience from automotive, HVAC, carpentry, small engine repair, or related areas.Vocational school coursework in mechanics, diesel technology, or automotive technology.Tech You'll EncounterVariable Frequency Drives (VFD)Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) (Fanuc, Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, Omron, Siemens, Panasonic, Schneider Electric, Beckoff, Modicon, B&R Industrial Automation, Sigmatek)Conveyor Systems (Swisslog, Dematic, Körber, Hytrol, Pentanova, Alba, Wulftec, Riantics)Servo MotorsWhat You'll GetCompetitive pay and benefits packagePaid time off: vacation, sick time, holidays, etc.401(k) with company matchOn‑the‑job training and career developmentPathways to specialized rolesSupportive, growth‑focused team environment#J-18808-Ljbffr
